3:45 P.M.: Voting hours extended at 6 suburban locations Six suburban polling stations will remain open for an extra hour until 8 p.m. this evening, Cook County Clerk Karen Yarborough announced. The County sought and received a court order to allow the sites to extend voting by an hour because they opened late on Tuesday morning. The County's other 1,424 polling states will still close at 7 p.m. The delayed openings were caused by elections judges failing to show up or arriving late at the sites, said Sally Daly, spokesperson for the office.
