The Mount Prospect Police Department is hiring 2 additional officers to improve public safety and reduce crime rates in the Village of Mount Prospect. The additional officers will fill vacancies in the Patrol Section and help with the increased workloads of the Investigations Section and Special Response Team. The department is also entering into a 2-year agreement with Flock Group, Inc. for the purchase and installation of 23 fixed License Plate Recognition (LPR) cameras and 1 portable LPR camera.
