Attorney Tracy Katz Muhl could face incumbent State Rep. Jonathan Carroll in the March 19, 2024, Democratic primary. Reply NORTHBROOK, IL — It looks like Illinois State Representative Jonathan Carroll (D-Northbrook) may have an opponent in next year's Democratic primary. Tracy Katz Muhl, a Northfield Township Democratic committee member and former president of the District 28 board of education, announced her candidacy Tuesday. The Northbrook attorney is hoping to unseat Carroll in the March 19, 2024, primary, with the general election set for Nov.
